The PulsON EXP8/2 Expansion Module is a state-of-the-art device designed by BCS for enhancing security systems through increased input capacity. This module allows the addition of up to 8 alarm input lines, facilitating the connection of various sensors. It features 3 technical inputs for monitoring additional power supplies, 2 programmable OC outputs (capable of handling 50 mA and 1A), and 2 AUX power supply outputs, as well as a sabotage input that detects the opening of the enclosure. The EXP8/2 ensures high-security standards as it complies with EN-50131 Grade 2 requirements, which makes it a reliable choice for sophisticated alarm systems.


This expansion module operates using a wired communication method and is designed specifically for seamless integration with the PulsON Alarm Central. It operates effectively within a voltage range of 12 V DC (+/- 15%) and is optimized for a wide temperature range, from -10°C to 55°C. The inclusion of mounting pins in the package ensures simple installation, making it accessible for both professional and DIY setups.
