10GBASE-T COPPER CONNECTIVITY
The Zyxel SFP10G-T-ZZ0101F is a copper SFP+ transceiver that converts an SFP+ port to an RJ-45 connection. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over Cat6a or Cat7 cabling, with a maximum reach of 30 meters. This is a copper module, not a fiber-optic transceiver.
FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
Designed for compatible SFP+ ports, the module supports hot swapping for installation or replacement without powering down the equipment. It operates at 3.1–3.45 V, draws up to 750 mA, and measures 13.6 × 68.8 × 13.7 mm, with a weight of 24 g. Its operating temperature range is 0–70°C.
PLAN FOR SWITCH COOLING
10GBASE-T modules generate additional heat, so the switch fan may increase speed to help dissipate it. The maximum number of copper 10G modules supported depends on the switch’s thermal design. This model does not have a declared DDMI function; its specified storage temperature range is −40–85°C.
