The Ubiquiti Access G3 Reader Fingerprint combines fingerprint recognition with NFC credentials, PIN entry, and mobile unlocking. It supports Apple Touch Pass and Apple or Google Wallet, giving users multiple ways to access a secured space through the UniFi Access application.
FINGERPRINT AND NFC CAPABILITIES
A capacitive fingerprint sensor supports up to 300 fingerprint credentials. The reader also works with NFC cards and key fobs at 13.56 MHz, with a read range under 30 mm. Supported technologies include ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, NFC tag types 1–5, and MIFARE Classic, Plus, Ultralight, and DESFire.
BUILT FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR INSTALLATION
Rated IP55 for weather resistance, the reader is designed for indoor and exposed outdoor use across operating temperatures from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F). Its polycarbonate and aluminum alloy enclosure measures 126.2 x 45 x 56.9 mm, and the included steel mount supports wall or gang-box installation.
POE CONNECTIVITY AND ACCESS INTEGRATION
Designed for the UniFi Access application, the G3 Reader Fingerprint connects over a 10/100 MbE RJ45 port and supports BLE 4.2 and NFC. It uses PoE, supports 48V DC, and has a maximum power consumption of 5 W. Integrated speaker, multicolor LEDs, and a factory-reset button round out its practical access-control features.
