The Ubiquiti Retrofit Reader Fingerprint supports fingerprint, PIN, NFC card and key fob, mobile, and Apple or Google Wallet access. Apple Touch Pass support adds another credential option, while the keypad and capacitive fingerprint sensor make it easy to select an access method for different users and entry needs.
DESIGNED FOR RETROFIT INSTALLATIONS
Built for the UniFi Retrofit Hub, this OSDP reader connects over existing cabling, helping integrate access control into retrofit projects. RS-485, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC connectivity support its range of credentials, with OSDP v2 providing a secure communication standard.
INDOOR AND OUTDOOR DURABILITY
Rated IP55 for weather resistance, the reader is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and operates from -22°F to 122°F. Its polycarbonate and aluminum-alloy enclosure, steel mounting material, and protection against air discharge up to ±8 kV and contact discharge up to ±4 kV support dependable operation in varied environments.
COMPACT, PRACTICAL INSTALLATION
Measuring 5 × 1.8 × 1.9 inches and weighing 5 ounces, the reader includes wall and gang-box mounting options, with junction-box mounting available as an option. It runs on 12V DC with maximum power consumption of 3.5W, stores up to 300 fingerprints, and includes a speaker, multicolor LEDs, and a factory-reset button.
