GIGABIT ETHERNET OVER COPPER
The OEM GLC-TE-C is a copper SFP transceiver compatible with the Cisco GLC-TE. It supports 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet at 1 Gbps over Category 5 or higher twisted-pair cabling, with an RJ-45 connection and a maximum reach of 100 meters.
SFP FORMAT FOR RJ-45 NETWORK PORTS
Designed for an SFP port on a compatible switch, router, or network adapter, this module provides an RJ-45 interface for copper Ethernet cabling. It uses the 1000BASE-T standard (IEEE 802.3ab) and is a copper transceiver, not a fiber-optic module; it does not connect to single-mode or multimode fiber.
HOT-SWAPPABLE, CISCO-COMPATIBLE DESIGN
The module supports hot swapping in accordance with the SFP MSA, allowing replacement without powering down the device when the host equipment supports this operation. Manufactured by OEM by Sansec, it is a compatible alternative to Cisco GLC-TE, not an original Cisco product.
