WD ELEMENTS DESKTOP 12 TB – AMPLE DESKTOP STORAGE
The Western Digital WD Elements Desktop WDBWLG0120HBK-EESN is a 12 TB external hard drive designed for use at a fixed workstation. It’s an easy way to expand the storage space of a desktop computer or laptop used at a desk. With 12 TB, there’s plenty of room for an extensive photo and video archive, a multimedia collection, and backups of important files.
PLUG IN AND GET STARTED
The drive is ready to use as soon as you connect it to a USB port. Preformatted with NTFS, it works with Windows computers without any additional setup. Power is supplied by the included AC adapter. Mac users can reformat the drive and enjoy the same convenience.
FAST TRANSFERS WITH USB 3.0
The USB 3.0 interface delivers data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s, making a difference when copying large folders, video recordings, and extensive backups. The drive is also compatible with USB 2.0 ports, so you can connect it to an older computer too. In that case, it operates at the speed supported by that standard.
A CENTRAL DATA ARCHIVE
WD Elements Desktop is a convenient home for all your important files, including family photos, videos, projects, and documents. Moving archived data to an external drive frees up space on your computer, while regularly backing up your most important files helps protect them from loss.
WESTERN DIGITAL QUALITY
The WD Elements series offers straightforward, reliable Western Digital external drives for everyday use at home or in the office. A durable enclosure protects the drive, and the Kensington lock slot lets you secure it to your desk with a cable. It’s a practical choice for anyone who needs plenty of storage in a simple, affordable package.
