GIGABIT ETHERNET OVER COPPER
This SFP transceiver provides a 1000BASE-T connection at 1 Gb/s through a standard RJ-45 port. Designed for category 5 or higher twisted-pair cabling, it supports copper network links up to 100 meters. It is a copper module, not a fiber-optic transceiver, and does not connect to single-mode or multimode fiber.
SFP DESIGN FOR COMPATIBLE NETWORK EQUIPMENT
The SFP-1G-T-C is an OEM-by-Sansec compatible replacement for the Dell Networking SFP-1G-T. Its SFP form factor fits an SFP port on a compatible switch, router, or network adapter, while the RJ-45 interface connects with familiar twisted-pair cabling.
HOT-SWAPPABLE MODULE
Compliant with the SFP MSA, this module supports hot swapping, allowing replacement without powering down the device when the host equipment supports this function. It follows the IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T standard for Gigabit Ethernet over copper.
